Mr. Wade Benjamin Dease, 68, of Coward, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at his residence.
Mr. Dease was born on January 9, 1957, in Hemingway, son of the late Pastor Jimmie James Dease and Ernestine Cooper Dease. Mr. Dease was formerly employed with Vulcraft and had a deep love for farming and raising cows. Above all, he cherished his family, finding his greatest joy in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Lynch Dease of Coward; children, Crystal Dease and Little Wade (Heidi) Dease; grandchildren, Candice Dease, J.J. Dease, Maisee Dease (Jacob) Barrett, Whyat Dease, Cassidy Harrington (Matthew Grimsley), Mary Olivia Harrington; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Brachel Dease; sisters, Rachel Dease, Ann (Wade) Everette and Sarah (Clayton) Nettles; nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Mr. Dease was preceded in death by a son, Johnny James Dease; grandsons, Dewayne Harrington, and Ridge Dease; siblings, Jimmy Albert Dease, Aaron Dease, Donald Dease and Reverend Ronald Dease.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home.
Graveside service will at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Dease Family Cemetery, 1255 ½ Lynch Road, Coward, with Reverend Susie Dease officiating.
