Walter "Butch" Newcomb

Walter "Butch" Newcomb, 56, husband of Diane Dargatz Newcomb, died Friday, August 20, 2021, at MUSC Health of Florence.

Mr. Newcomb was born on May 3, 1965 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, son of the late Walter William Newcomb and Eleanor Marie Csernalabics Newcomb.

Surviving are his wife, Diane Dargatz Newcomb of Johnsonville; brothers, Warren William (Laurelie) Newcomb and Randall Charles "Randy" (Jona) Newcomb;

Mr. Newcomb was preceded in death by a sister, Cynthia Ellen Cory; brother-in-law, Steven Edward Dargatz.

A Celebration of Life will be 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, 215 East Highway 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
