Wanda Denise (Lane) Jeffords

Wanda Denise Jeffords, 68, wife of James W. Jeffords, died Thursday, December 31, 2020, at her home after an illness.

Mrs. Jeffords was born on January 23, 1952 in Florence County, daughter of the late Graham Cromwell Lane and Allie Doris Cottingham Lane. Wanda was a graduate of McClenaghan High School in Florence. She retired from Columbia Farms and was a member of the Coward Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her husband, James W. Jeffords of Florence; son, Kenneth Graham (Cristy) Lane of Effingham; daughter, Rachel Darlene Jeffords of Effingham; grandchildren, Robert (Megan) Flowers, Raymond (Allie) Flowers, Amber Flowers, Anna (Pearce) Buie, Justin Lane, Seth Lane, Chad Matthews,  Zachary Matthews, and Emily Matthews; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Shirley Poston of Timmonsville, Anita Helms of Florence, Vernon (Pat) Lane and Graham Lane, both of Timmonsville; fur babies, BooBoo and Little Bit.

Mrs. Jeffords was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Jean Lane.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Coward Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Anderson Cemetery, Harvest Lane, Coward.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
