Mrs. Wanda Creel Parrott, 69, of Johnsonville, wife of the late Edward Marvin “Cecil” Parrott, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026, at her home.
Mrs. Parrott was born on December 18, 1956, in Florence County, daughter of the late James Langston Creel and Ola Juanita Douglas Creel. Mrs. Parrott was a devoted Christian and a loving homemaker who found great joy in caring for her home and family. She had a creative spirit and a special gift for decorating, making every season of life feel warm, welcoming, and meaningful for those around her.
She dearly loved her family and treasured the time spent with them. Mrs. Parrott enjoyed browsing yard sales, shopping, and spending time in thrift stores, always on the lookout for that perfect hidden treasure. When she was able, she also found peace and satisfaction in working in her yard, taking pride in making her surroundings beautiful.
Surviving are her sons, Trent (Pam) Miles of Liberty, TX, and Troy (Casey) Miles of Conway; grandchildren, Devin Miles, Austin Miles, Chandler (Andi) Miles, Chase McGee, Samantha (Lance) Lowe, Delaney Parrott and Alexis Miles; 3 great-grandchildren; step-son, Eddie Parrott of Conway; sisters, Sondra (Tony) Cook of Johnsonville and Juanita Schleuger of Pamplico; brothers, J.E. (Pam) Creel of Lake City and Carlisle Creel of Johnsonville; along with many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parrott was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Jones and a brother, Lindwood Creel.
Mrs. Parrott requested there be no services.
