Obituary
Wayne Lee, 67, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of The Pee Dee, surrounded by his family.
Wayne was born on December 3, 1955, in Lake City, son of Nancy Miles Lee and the late Pedro Nelson Lee. He was a graduate of Lake City High School and received his Associates Degree from Florence Darlington Technical College. Wayne was a retired welder with Cayce Company and enjoyed wood working.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Nancy Miles Lee of Lake City, are his daughter, Bridget Lee (Kyle) Banovetz of Florence; son, Donald (Mandy) Sims, Jr. of Lake City; grandchildren, Kylie Banovetz, Shannon Johnson, Josh Ross and Jacob Sims; great granddaughter, Leigh Anne Johnson; siblings, Cathy Lee and Philip Lee, both of Lake City; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Debbie Johnson.
Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Lynn Rosser.
A Celebration of Life will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 10, 2023, at Carolina Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
