Wesley Hearne

Mr. Claude Wesley Hearne, 80, of Pamplico, husband of the late Joyce Richardson Hearne, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025, at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center.

Mr. Hearne was born on February 1, 1944, in Hannah Community, Pamplico, son of the late J.B. Hearne and Bertha Poston Hearne. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He spent his working years as a logger for Hearne Logging and Cagle Brothers Logging.  

Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer Hearne; siblings, Pauline (Steve) Hinshaw of Raleigh, NC, Raymon Hearne of Evergreen, Rudy Hearne of Goose Creek and Shirley (George) Rhame of Florence; and extended family members.

Mr. Hearne was preceded in death by siblings, Mary Newell, Challis Miles, Darvin Miles and Vonnie Hearne.

The family will receive friends will be from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Carolina Funeral Home, 215 East Highway 378 Bypass, Scranton, SC 29591.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Prosser Cemetery, Pamplico, 3359 Big Swamp Road, Pamplico, SC 29583.
