William Dovelt Collins

William Dovelt Collins, 59, husband of Rebecca “Becki” Collins, went to his heavenly home, Sunday, May 22, 2022, surrounded by his family at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee, Florence.

William was born on June 4, 1962, in Florence County, son of the late Dovelt Collins and Doris L. Collins. William worked for S & T Utilities for many years; he was a member of Faith Holiness Church and he loved his family and church.  His favorite hobby was cutting grass.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Becki Collins of Coward, are his sons, Derrick (Danielle) Collins and Lance (Danielle "Little D") Collins of Coward; brother, Chad (Sherry) Collins of Florence; grandchildren, Kaleb and Kamryn Collins of Coward; and a very special niece, Allison Collins of Florence; his fur baby, Rocky.

William was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Therese Collins.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, with a private burial to follow at The Bible Temple Cemetery, Coward.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Carolina Funeral Home.
