William “Bill” E. Young, Jr., 83, husband of the late Ola Mae Feagin Young, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at his home in Lake City surrounded by his family.
Mr. Young was born on December 17, 1940, in Ohio, son of the late William Young, Sr. and Virginia Irene Mugrage Young. Mr. Young loved God, his church family, reading the Bible daily and he was a Prayer Warrior for many people. He was a faithful member of Faith Holiness Church where he served as a Deacon. Mr. Young always had a smile and was always willing to help anyone. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren who were the joy of his life. Mr. Young loved and adored his wife, Ola Mae and was her caretaker for more than 10 years during her declining health.
Surviving are his son, Billy (Noriko) Young, III of Menifee, CA; daughters, Debbie Lee and Tammy (Mark) McKnight both of Lake City; sisters, Becky Chumar, Barbara Mellon and Susie Barnes all of Ohio; special granddaughter, Robin Floyd of Lake City; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; fur baby, Tippie.
Mr. Young was preceded in death by his daughters, Kathy Young, JoAnn Revis, and Sandra McGee; brothers, Larry Young, Donnie Young, John Young and Ken Young.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Faith Holiness Church.
A Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 18,2024, at Faith Holiness Church.
