William "Craig" Martin

Monroe, NC - Mr. William “Craig” Martin, 53, husband of, Teresa Sadlowski Martin, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC.

Craig was born on April 10, 1971, in Florence County, son of Joseph Alton “Joe” Martin and Cynthia B. Martin. He was a member of Hebron Independent Church and graduated from Roy Hudgens Academy. Craig worked in the telephone contract industry for over 30 years. He was currently working as a Contract Manager with Allstate Sales Group.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa S. Martin; parents Joe and Cynthia Martin; sister, Melissa M. (Gary) Hendrix; brother, Joseph A. “Jody” (Cindy) Martin, Jr.; step daughters, Courtney (Clayton) Glaze and Cassondra Shlotzhauer; nephews, Cory Hendrix (Ashleigh Ewing), Dalton (Courtney) Hendrix, Adam (Brooke) Martin, and Brett (Kristen) Martin; niece, Makenzi Hendrix (Sam Reynolds); great nephew, Fisher Hendrix; great niece, Amelia Reynolds; other extended family and friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ernest & Catherine Barrineau, and Eula M. Godwin; uncle, Donald Martin.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hebron Independent Church, 1424 Hebron Road, Cades, SC.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Hebron Independent Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at VFW Post 5464, 712 VFW Road, Monroe, NC 28110.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Hebron Independent Church, 1424 Hebron Road, Cades, SC 29518, c/o Craig Martin Memorial Fund.  All donations will benefit Craig’s wife, Teresa.
