Yvonne (McDonald) Broach

Yvonne Broach, 86, died Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Carlyle Senior Care of Kingstree.

Mrs. Broach was born on November 17, 1934 in Florence County, daughter of the late Junious McSwain McDonald and Gretchen Floyd McDonald. She was a member of Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Church Choir, was active in the Women's Ministry where she served as Vice President and was the Director of Missions. Mrs. Broach was retired from Williamsburg Meat Packing in Kingstree.

Surviving are her daughter, Cheryl J. (Allen) Daley of Lake City; stepsons, Michael (Lindy) Broach and Danny (Shameena) Broach, both of Wilmington, NC; grandchildren, Kaycee (Brent) Bennett, Rebecca (Tripp Beard) Dove, Joye (Andrew) James, Devin (Chuck) Batchelor and Ashley (Heath) Powell; seven great grandchildren, Grooms Bennett, Kayden Carter, Lily Jane Bennett, Lillie Cooper Bennett, Marley James Bennett, Finley Beard, Mack Beard, Sam Batchelor, Nick Batchelor and Charlotte Powell;  brother, Thomas McDonald; sisters, Janice Snipes, Libby (John L.) Floyd, Ila Cole, and Judy Hall; and a special cousin, Larry Flowers.

Mrs. Broach was preceded in death two spouses, Reverend George Joye and Charles Broach; five brothers, William McDonald, Ashton McDonald, J.W. McDonald, Kester McDonald and Marshall McDonald; and a grandchild, Candice Joye Filyaw.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Broad Swamp Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM prior to the service.
