Zachary “Zack” Nelson Gause, 28, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
Zack was born on July 9, 1996, in Florence County, son Rhonda Smith Gause and the late Nelson Bruce Gause. He was very smart, a free spirit, a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. Zack loved music, history and cooking. He was a nature and outdoors person, enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the mountains.
Surviving are his mother, Rhonda Smith Gause of Scranton; sisters, Nancy (John) Truluck of Summerville and Becky Gause of Scranton; maternal grandparents, Buddy and Barbara Smith of Scranton; nieces, Emily and Grace Truluck of Summerville.
Zack was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Bruce and Doris Gause.
Memorial services will be 5:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
