Davis "Punk" Ross Daniel, Sr.

Mr. Davis Ross "Punk" Daniel, Sr., 89, widow of Omega L. Daniel, died Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. Daniel was born on December 14, 1927 in Florence County, son of the late John Leighton and Mary McClam Daniel.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Surviving are his children, Lynn (Dr. Stan) Woerth of Summerville, Dale (Douglas) Catchings of Scranton and Davis R. (Cindy) Daniel, Jr. of Scranton; grandchildren, Kim Cockfield, Lynwood Cockfield, Brandi (John) Ammons, Reid Daniel, Stephen (Kelly) Catchings, Laura (Scott) Lawrence, Ricky Flynn and Christopher (Stephanie) Flynn; great grandchildren, Taylor Cockfield, Isabella Flynn, Mallory Lawrence, Lindsey Lawrence, Jack Catchings, Luke Catchings, Kelsey Ammons, Amelia Flynn, Nathalia Flynn, Tristan Flynn and Sidney Cockfield.

Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Kimberly Shea Cockfield and Ashlan Daniel; brothers, John Bayton Daniel, James Edward Daniel and Leighton Lamar Daniel; and a sister, Mildred Daniel Dewitt.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Lake City Memorial Park, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

Punk and Omega are now together, and we celebrate their reunion as we suffer our loss of a wonderful man.
