William "Bubba" Creel

Lake City:  William "Bubba" J. Creel, 57, husband of the late Wanda Poston Creel, died Monday, July 10, 2017, at McLeod Regional Medical Center, Florence.

Mr. Creel was born on May 24, 1960, in Georgetown County, son of the late William F. and Mary Alice Williamson Creel.  He was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church and was a truck driver.

Surviving are his son, Patrick J. Creel of Lake City; daughters, Rosanna Sims of Darlington, Candy (Howard) Evans of Effingham, Bonnie (Donald) Lee and Holly Miles, both of Lake City; siblings, Kathy Evans of Florence, Keith Creel of Quinby, Randy Creel and Quinton (Kinwi) Creel, both of Florence, James (Lynn) Miles of Coward, Janet (Gary) Parrott of Lake City and Misty (Stephen) McGee of Coward; eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. 

Mr. Creel was preceded in death by his stepmother, Georgia Creel; three brothers, Eddie Miles, Benjy Miles and Hubert Miles.

Funeral services will be 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home Chapel, Scranton, with burial to follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery, Johnsonville. 

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM, Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Funeral Home, in memory of William "Bubba" Creel, PO Box 757, Scranton, SC, 29591.
